Terms and Conditions

RESTOCKING AND CANCELLATIONS 

  • Effective August 15, 2022, orders that are placed and have received an order confirmation that are cancelled are subject to a 10% restocking fee 

MINIMUM ORDERS AND REPACK FEES 

  • The minimum order is $150.00 CDN orders less than $150.00 CDN will incur a $20.00 CDN processing fee. 
  • Miniature lamps may be purchased in case quantities only. Certain conditions apply. 
  • A repack fee of $5.00 CDN will be applied to broken case quantities for fluorescent lamps, when available. 

NON-STOCK ITEMS/DEFECTIVE ITEMS 

  • Nonstock items and clearance items are final sale. No returns, refunds or exchanges are accepted. 
  • Defective items are subject to vendor warranty. Notice of a defective product must be given in writing immediately upon discovery of any defect, accompanied by the invoice number(s) for which the goods were originally purchased. 
  • Replacements or credit notes will not be issued unless the defective products are returned to Symban Lighting for inspection or vendor approval. 

RETURN POLICY 

  • An RMA must be created for any returns prior to returning an item. Symban reserves the right to limit or refuse to accept the return of certain merchandise at any time for any reason. A copy of the RMA must be included with your return. 
  • We shall not accept any product that has been tampered with or packages that have been opened or product that has been used/installed. To qualify for exchange, all products must be in their original 

packaging for credit to occur. Exceptions are permitted on packaging pertaining to defective products. 

  • Once the RMA is sent out you have 30 days to return the product. After 30 days a new RMA will not be issued. 
  • Returns are subject to a 10%restocking fee. 

LIABILITY 

  • Symban Lighting will hold no responsibility for damages or injury, resulting directly or indirectly from improper electrical connections or improper installation of its products. 

SHIPPING 

  • For any fulfilment shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items resulting in the shipment, please contact Symban within 48 hours of delivery at 905-450-5999. For damaged items please send pictures with the order number and purchase order number to ORDER@SYMBANLIGHTING.CA 
  • Symban shall not be responsible for any loss, delay or damage caused by the courier/delivery service that the issuing party has provided. You should contact your courier/delivery service for more information. 
  • For prepaid freight please contact our customer service department for more information at 905-450-5999. 
  • Delivery is to be made in a single shipment unless otherwise agreed upon. 

DROP SHIPMENT SERVICE 

  • Symban Lighting offers a drop shipment service. Any extra charges resulting from this service such as Redelivery, Tailgate charge, home delivery charge, inside delivery charge, beyond point charge, etc. will be charged back to the issuing party of the purchase order. 
  • The issuing party of the purchase order agrees to accept and pay these charges. 

BACKORDERS 

  • Backorders are subject to freight charges. 
  • Symban cannot guarantee that your backorder can be filled. Backorders can be cancelled at any time for any reason. You will be notified if any changes are made to your order. 

PICKUPS 

  • Once your order is placed you will receive an order confirmation email that your order has been processed. Orders that are not picked up within 30 days will be put back into stock and a restocking fee of 10% may be billed to you. Certain conditions apply. 

TERMS 

  • All terms are Net 30 Days unless otherwise agreed upon. 
  • Invoice errors must be reported within 10 days from the date of invoice. 

QUOTATIONS 

  • Confirmed quotations are valid for 15 days from the quotation date 

CONDITIONS OF SALE 

  • All orders are subject to the terms and conditions contained herein. 
  • Symban lighting shall not be bound by any terms or conditions contained in purchasers' purchase orders unless stated in these conditions of sale. 
  • Symban Lighting shall not be bound by any 3rd party terms and conditions including those of courier companies not of Symban Lighting's choosing. Freight coverage is available only on prepaid and prepaid & charge shipments where the courier is chosen by Symban Lighting. 
  • All orders are subject to acceptance by Symban Lighting. 
  • All prices, models, and specifications are subject to change or withdrawal without notice. 
  • All orders must be received on customer order forms. 
  • No shipments will be made, or pick-ups allowed unless all accounts due to Symban lighting are current.
